Automotive-Grade Negative Ion Air Purification Module

Actively releases high-density negative ions to support HVAC-linked air purification and healthier cabin protection

The negative ion module uses automotive-grade high-voltage ionization technology to continuously release highly active negative ions through a stable and controlled electric field. These ions combine with airborne particles such as PM2.5, dust, pollen, bacteria, and odor molecules, helping them aggregate, settle, or deactivate, thereby improving cabin air cleanliness and comfort. The module features a low-ozone suppression structure and a precision high-voltage control circuit to ensure strong ion output while keeping ozone emission within automotive safety limits. With an optimized discharge structure and carefully selected insulation materials, the module delivers long-term stable operation under vibration, humidity, condensation, and frequent temperature changes. It can also work with the vehicle HVAC or air management system in real time. When cabin air quality declines, odors build up, or the vehicle operates in enclosed conditions for an extended period, the system can automatically activate negative ion purification mode and coordinate with fresh air, A/C, or filtration modules to accelerate pollutant removal. Under poor outside air conditions, the system can also combine recirculation mode with negative ion purification for intelligent cabin air protection and health management.

Key Advantages

Efficient Purification

High-density negative ion generation helps reduce PM2.5, bacteria, and odor concentration in the cabin, improving air freshness and supporting healthier in-vehicle air management.

Highly Consistent Output

The ion generation unit and high-voltage control circuit are developed in-house and validated through strict calibration and aging tests for stable, repeatable mass-production performance.

Automotive-Grade Reliability

Designed and validated to automotive standards, the module operates reliably from -40°C to 85°C and offers strong resistance to vibration, shock, humidity, and aging.

Low Ozone, Low Power, Easy Integration

Optimized electrode structure and control algorithms help reduce ozone emission. The compact, low-power design with standardized interfaces supports easy integration into HVAC, air purification, and intelligent cockpit systems.

Negative Ion Modules

The negative ion module works closely with the vehicle air management system to actively purify cabin air through continuous and controlled release of highly active negative ions. It helps reduce suspended particles, odor molecules, and certain microorganisms, while supporting system-level cabin air quality control. Based on driving conditions, cabin air status, or HVAC logic, the module can automatically switch on or adjust output intensity. In long enclosed driving conditions, multi-passenger scenarios, or environments with poor outside air quality, it can work together with recirculation, fresh-air intake, and filtration systems to accelerate air renewal and pollutant removal. Whether the vehicle is driving in urban congestion, tunnels, highways, or heavily polluted areas, the system helps maintain cabin freshness and comfort, reducing the buildup of odors and particles and delivering a healthier, quieter, and more premium air experience for occupants.
