Dual-Channel PM2.5 Sensor
Simultaneous in-cabin and ambient particle monitoring for precise air quality comparison and intelligent HVAC control
The dual-channel PM2.5 sensor is based on laser scattering imaging technology and features a dual-chamber, dual-optical-path design for independent monitoring of in-cabin and ambient particle concentration. Laser beams enter two separate sampling chambers through optical lenses, where they interact with PM2.5 particles in the air. The scattered light is then optimized through an aperture and precisely captured by two sets of photodiodes, enabling synchronized detection of in-cabin and ambient particle concentration. The sensor outputs real-time in-cabin and ambient PM2.5 data and works closely with the vehicle HVAC system: when outside air quality is poor, it can automatically maintain recirculation mode and improve purification efficiency; when outside air quality is better than inside, it can actively switch to fresh air mode to accelerate cabin air exchange, enabling more refined HVAC control strategies.
Key Advantages
High Accuracy
Built on a high-sensitivity dual-optical-path architecture, the sensor delivers ±5% to ±10% measurement accuracy and supports comparative analysis of in-cabin and ambient air quality for more intelligent HVAC control.
High Consistency
Equipped with a self-developed dual-channel optical calibration system, it enables independent calibration and matching for each channel, ensuring highly consistent output across different temperatures, vehicle models, and installation positions.
Automotive-Grade
Designed to automotive-grade standards, the product operates reliably in extreme environments from -40°C to +85°C. Its dual-channel structure also features independent temperature compensation to effectively reduce temperature drift and ensure long-term reliability.
Cost-Effective
The core laser module and dual-optical-path structure are both self-developed and mass-produced, reducing overall material cost while improving detection stability and supporting large-scale vehicle integration.
PM2.5 Series
The PM2.5 sensor works closely with the in-vehicle system to monitor in-cabin and ambient air quality in real time and display the data digitally on the central control screen. It continuously detects airborne particle concentration and transmits the data to the vehicle HVAC control system, allowing the system to automatically switch air circulation modes, adjust airflow, and activate purification or ionization functions based on air quality conditions. Whether driving in urban traffic, tunnels, exhaust-heavy areas, or dusty roads, the system responds dynamically to maintain a cleaner and healthier cabin environment, delivering a safer and more comfortable travel experience.
